• AI-generated food and supplement suggestions

• International regulation tracking
• Weekly exposure reports

The App is available to users with a free tier or active paid subscription.

3. Subscription & Payment

• The App is available for a subscription fee of $9.99 USD per month.
• Subscription grants access to all features.
• Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (Apple App Store or Google Play).
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time.
• Prices may change with prior notice.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• Refunds are issued at Apple's discretion and are subject to Apple's refund policies
• IslandEnterprise does not process or control refunds
• If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you may request one directly from Apple Support within a reasonable period after purchase

5. Educational Disclaimer

IslandScan provides educational information only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Content generated by the App, including AI-based nutrition analysis, supplement insights, and fitness-related suggestions, is for informational purposes only.

You should consult a licensed physician, dietitian, or qualified healthcare provider before making dietary, supplement, or health decisions. Use of the App is at your own risk.

6. No Medical or Professional Relationship

Use of this App does not create:

• A doctor-patient relationship
• A dietitian-client relationship
• Any licensed professional relationship

The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree:

• To provide accurate account information
• Not to misuse or abuse the App
• Not to attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the software
• Not to upload unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content

You are solely responsible for decisions made based on information provided by the App.

8. AI Limitations

The App uses artificial intelligence technology, including systems such as Google Gemini.

AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or incomplete interpretations. Users should independently verify important information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IslandEnterprise shall not be liable for:

• Health reactions
• Dietary issues
• Supplement misuse
• Indirect or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the previous 12 months.

10. Termination

IslandEnterprise reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the App.

11. Account & Data Deletion

You may delete your account and request removal of your data at any time. Upon account deletion:

• Your account, health profile, health history, dietary preferences, and allergy data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• All scan history, food diary entries, pantry data, and calculated health scores will be removed
• Your data will be removed from our cloud systems; locally stored data on your device must be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing app data
• Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play to avoid continued billing
• Data required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax or regulatory compliance) may be retained for the legally mandated period

To delete your account, use the "Delete Account" option in your profile settings or email support@theislandscan.com. Deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone.

12. Modifications

IslandEnterprise may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados, and all disputes shall be submitted to the Courts of Barbados.
